The person who performs your marriage ceremony will be one of the most important people at your wedding, and the ceremony is one of the most important moments. In that vein, there are many things to consider when thinking of who to choose and how.

While this choice is exceedingly personal, there are some guidelines and questions to discuss with your partner that can help make the decision seamless – is religion a key element to you? If so, Is the ceremony interfaith or intercultural? If not, what goes into a civil ceremony? Do you want to write your own vows? Will the ceremony be in a house of worship or at a venue?
