C&G's Services

While C&G offers a variety of services, in many combinations (each proposal we create is tailored to every prospective client), we have delineated the five that are most popular.

In addition to the list below, we also offer a “guidance” service, which is for those couples who at any stage of the process just want to check in with a professional about how they are doing on their own in the execution of the planning. Sometimes this is for those who are concerned about making a specific hiring or aesthetic decision, and other times it can be for a general check in to make sure that they are proceeding as they should. Most often, we are hired for Guidance Consulting right at the beginning of the process, as couples who are not sure that they want to hire a wedding planner, do know that they want direction on how and where to start with the process. Guidance Consulting at any phase is $560 for a 1.5-hour session and we opine on anything that you would like to know about. Guidance Consulting sessions can be in person, by phone or via Skype.

The 5 categories of service for which we are most often engaged include:

Venue Location

Research and selection of the venue for the ceremony and wedding reception. We prepare pictures, descriptions, negotiate pricing, put together a location summary and arrange appointments for you to see the locations. We then review all contractual obligations and ensure that the contract is executed fully, as you expected. The venue could be anything from a facility that houses all three components of a wedding (ceremony, cocktail and reception) to a private home or estate that hosts a portion of a wedding celebration.

Vendor Management

Research and hiring of the vendors that you need for your wedding, which can include everything from the officiant (person to perform the marriage) to the florist, photographer, videographer, band or DJ, musicians for ceremony, transportation company, etc. This category includes the hiring and review for all the vendors that provide a service on the day of the wedding

Guest Travel Arrangements

Securing group rates at hotels in a few price categories, negotiating the room rates, and arranging for welcome letters or baskets with a vendor (or writing the letters if just including a note rather than a welcome gift). This can also include arranging group activities or itineraries for days and events other than the wedding day (i.e. rehearsal dinner, goodbye brunch).

Stationery

Anything having to do with the paper products that you are using in association with the invitation portion of the weekend (save the dates, invitations) and the wedding day itself (programs, menu cards, escort cards, table cards, etc.)

Wedding Day Management

Manage the wedding day, logistics, prepare all the scheduling, ensure that everything is going as planned and having our team attend the ceremony and reception through to the end of the wedding reception.
